MeetingPackage has raised $4.6 million in Series A funding, led by Scale Capital.
The Finland-based startup works with more than 6,000 properties ranging from global brands to independent hotels, providing software to sell and manage meeting and event spaces that is integrated with property management systems from Amadeus, Mews, Oracle and others.
The company said the new funding will be used to push growth in Europe, to expand into North America and to improve its product suite.

Joonas Ahola, CEO and founder of MeetingPackage, said that the company is continuing to refine and innovate its offerings to meet the ever-evolving needs of the industry and hinted at what’s to come.
“Our team is gearing up to unveil a series of new features to streamline operations and elevate customer experience. We aspire to set new benchmarks for efficiency, user-friendliness, and customization,” Ahola said.
On top of its North American expansion plans, MeetingPackage anticipates being able to serve a larger client base with indirect, direct, online and offline channel sales for meetings and events for groups with product enhancement and the new funding.
Lars Jensen, managing partner at Scale Capital, said the firm was impressed by MeetingPackage’s trajectory.
“MeetingPackage has built a comprehensive product suite, assembled an ambitious and determined team of industry experts and demonstrated consistent growth and profitability – a rare feat in today’s market,” Jensen said. “We are excited to lead the investment round and support the European and US expansion of the company.”
As it continues to grow, MeetingPackage aims to provide meeting and event service bookable “everywhere.”
Joonas said that with its foundation and a vision for the future, Meetingpackage aims to redefine what is possible for the venue and group booking domain.
“We are stepping into an era where technology creates unparalleled opportunities to the hospitality industry,” he said.
